The speedball area is a dedicated field at White River Paintball designed specifically for faster-paced, competitive-style paintball. It will feature inflatable bunkers, a tournament-style layout, and a separate play area from our standard rec ball fields.
The speedball field is reserved exclusively for current White River Paintball members. Players must have an active membership, complete a safety briefing, and follow all speedball field rules before entering play.
No. Members can still use our standard rental equipment if needed. However, most speedball players prefer to use their own upgraded markers, masks, pods, and packs for the best experience.
No. Only paint purchased from White River Paintball may be used on the speedball field. This helps us maintain fair play, protect equipment, and keep the field in good condition.
The speedball field will not have dedicated referees during standard member play. Members are expected to follow all posted rules, maintain safe play, and act responsibly. Any unsafe behavior, cheating, or rule violations may result in removal from the field, membership suspension, or permanent loss of membership access.
Speedball is generally faster, more competitive, and played on a smaller field with inflatable bunkers and symmetrical layouts. Games are usually shorter, with more movement, communication, and quick eliminations than traditional paintball.
Speedball can be played in several formats, including 3-on-3, 5-on-5, or larger team formats, depending on attendance. Most standard games will likely be played in smaller team sizes to keep games moving quickly.
Yes. All players must keep masks on at all times while on the field, markers must pass chronograph testing before play, barrel covers must be used in safe zones, and all players are expected to follow standard NXL-style safety rules.
Yes. White River Paintball specifically wants to introduce newer players to speedball and help grow the local speedball community. While speedball is often more competitive than rec ball, newer players are welcome to participate as long as they are comfortable with faster gameplay and follow the field rules. Staff can also help explain the basics before players enter the field.
The speedball field will be available during Sunday open play hours for current members. It may not be available during certain large events, scenario games, or private reservations. Members should check the current schedule before arriving and use the White River Paintball Discord to communicate any schedule changes, player attendance, or planned speedball groups for the day.
Yes. You may play open play, private parties, and scenario event while using Mag-Fed paintball markers at White River Paintball. Please note that “First Strike” rounds and outside paintballs are not allowed at White River Paintball, as our facility is field paint only.
White River Paintball is a paintball-only field and we do not offer or allow airsoft on our fields.
Tickets transferred using Showclix self-service exchange portal do not incur a ticket transfer fee. To exchange your ticket with the self-service exchange portal, click the “exchange ticket” button at the bottom of your original order receipt or log into your My Tickets account on the Showclix website using the email address you provided at the time of your purchase.
Tickets transferred via email or over the phone are subject a $5 per ticket transfer fee. The ticket transfer fee is not refundable. If your new date of attendance happens to be cancelled by our park, you will receive a full refund of your original purchase price but you will not receive a refund of the transfer fee.
Our clubhouse offers an assortment of cold non-alcoholic beverages as well as a range of snacks.
Pizza delivery is also available. Ask our clubhouse staff upon arrival for available pizza delivery options.
No. Alcohol is not allowed on site and should not be consumed before or during play. If one of our staff members suspect a player of being intoxicated, they will not be allowed to play.

Yes. Private parties will have their own designated pavilions, their own referee, and private playing time on all of the outdoor fields.
There may be other groups playing at the facility but, due to the size of our facility, you’ll still be able to play privately on all of our playing fields.
However, please note that all private parties require a reservation in advance.
No. White River Paintball does not charge for parking.
Tips are graciously accepted if you feel you had an outstanding time with your referee.
Purchasing a ticket to White River Paintball is the same as purchasing a ticket to a concert or event. All sales are final. We do not issue refunds on any tickets or purchases.
Discounts are taken off of regular rates and are not valid in combination with other offers or discounts.
Private parties must provide a deposit to guarantee booking. Private Parties who do not pay for 10 players on the day of their event, show up more than 1 hour late or cancel with less than 3 weeks notice will forfeit their deposit. We play rain, snow or shine. Party cancellations due to lightning, blizzards, or unsafe weather conditions are at the sole discretion of White River Paintball.
You should dress accordingly for the weather. We recommend, at a minimum, long pants, long sleeve t-shirt, light gloves, and a hat.
If you are unsure what to wear, we recommend renting our camouflage jumpsuit, body armor, and/or kneepads when you arrive. Our pro-shop also has gloves and other protective gear available for purchase.
Yes. All visitors (players & spectators) must complete a waiver upon arrival.
Players under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian’s signature on their waiver.

You are allowed to bring your own paintball gear to our facility. Our staff will check your gun on our radar to ensure it is shooting at a safe speed. Additionally, all outside guns must be set to shoot semi-automatic, with a 10 balls-per-second cap on all electronic paintball guns.
Due to environmental and insurance reasons, no outside paintballs are allowed. All paintball must be purchased from White River Paintball. You may come back and use any paintballs purchased from White River Paintball, within 6 months of purchase date.

Private Parties can be scheduled any time, seven days a week, by calling our party specialists at 317-489-3732 and Open Play is held throughout the year on select weekdays and on every weekend.
Paintballs may sting a little upon impact, but the pain goes away within a few seconds. White River Paintball takes precautions to ensure all paintball markers are firing at safe speeds and we also have a mandatory 15-foot “surrender” rule. We also use a custom paintball specially formulated for the perfect shell thickness, to ensure the paintball is not too hard.
We routinely have players as young as 8 years old (including Girl Scouts) play at our facility.
If you are worried about the pain, we recommend you rent a camoflauge jumpsuit and body armor, which will help reduce paintball impact.
You must be at least 8 years old to play in a Private Party, and you must be at least 10 years old to play in Open Play and Scenario Events.

If you follow all of the safety precautions, paintball is very, very safe. In fact, due to the constant supervision and mandatory safety gear provided by White River Paintball, paintball is one of the safest sports in the country – safer than bowling!
We take all of the necessary safety precautions to ensure that you have fun, exciting paintball experience. Safety measures include a full safety briefing before play, full referee supervision throughout the day, reducing the speed of each paintball gun to a safe level, ensuring every player has full head and eye protection at all times during play and not allowing players to shoot each other within 15 feet.
